Several people have seen non-kosher food trucks in Manhattan bearing an unauthorized OK kosher symbol on the banner. OK Kosher Certification is asking for the public’s help to stop this fraudulent use of the OK kosher symbol. We have sent a mashgiach to speak with the owner of the truck, who agreed to remove the sign. Unfortunately, the sign was up again the next day. These trucks change their location every day.
We have contacted NYS Kosher Law Enforcement and they suggested we advertise to the public.
If anyone sees these trucks please contact OK Kosher Certification at 718-756-7500 and report the location and license plate number of the truck; so that further action can be taken. Reports can also be made to NYS Kosher Law Enforcement at [email protected]
In the meantime – please tell all contacts about this. Help us prevent anyone from mistakenly eating from these non-kosher trucks.

Please be advised that 7-Eleven stores are putting the OK kosher logo on signs in their stores to indicate that their product is kosher certified. OK Kosher does not certify any 7-Eleven stores or products prepared on premises (including Slurpees). Once the certified mix is unsealed and placed in the machine, the kosher status is no longer guaranteed by OK Kosher.

Freshly ground smooth almond butter Produced By Fresh Direct is MISLABELED
Fresh Direct freshly ground smooth peanut butter and freshly ground smooth almond butter mistakenly bears the OK P kosher symbol. The Fresh Direct website correctly lists these products as OK pareve certified for year round use. This product is kosher pareve, but is NOT kosher for Passover. Action Future labels have been corrected.

OK. Kosher Certification stands behind the kosher status of all Tropicana juices bearing the OK kosher symbol. In response to recent reports relating to Tropicana juices, the OK. tested the juices and also had them tested by an independent and knowledgeable posek, and all agreed that there are no halachic kashrus issues. In addition an independent laboratory tested the juices and found no traces of insects. As always, consumers can rest assured that any product bearing the OK symbol is kosher without compromise.
